Story 1: What’s the Moment When You Realized “Wow, I’m Old”?
We all had this happen at some point in our lives. You were just having a normal day, nothing seemed out of the ordinary, then suddenly something happened that made you realize for the first time, “Wow. I’m OLD.”
People on Reddit are sharing their “Wow, I’m old” moments right now. Here are some of the best ones . . .
- “When I fell down at work and no one laughed, instead three people came running over to make sure I was okay.”
- “I found myself grunting and groaning to bend over to tie my shoes.”
- “When I went to a music festival and slept in a tent after five years of not doing so. I needed to get home and take a real shower.”
- “When my son could outrun me.”
- “Instead of growing facial hair to look older, I’m shaving it to look younger.”
- “I had to explain to someone how we used to organize meeting up before cell phones. It was like I was explaining how to split an atom.”
- “When I spotted a gray hair . . . down there.”
Story 2: A Woman Brings 23 Relatives on a Blind Date to Test the Guy’s Generosity . . . He Dines and Dashes on the Bill
Here’s a ridiculous dating story for you . . . and one that has a CLEAR winner.
Two people in their 20s in Zhejiang, China recently got fixed up on a blind date. And the guy offered to pay for dinner.
So the women showed up to the restaurant . . . with 23 of her family members. She says she wanted to test her date’s generosity and see if he’d pay for everyone.
And the answer was . . . oh hell no. When the bill for $3,000 came, the guy excused himself . . . and then dined and dashed right out of there.
The woman was stuck paying for the entire bill.
They’ve been in touch since then and the guy has agreed to pay for his share . . . but the woman and her family are still on the hook for the rest.
There’s not going to be a second date.
Story 3: There’s a New Elf on the Shelf Cereal Coming to Stores
Last year, Kellogg’s released an Elf on the Shelf cereal. And apparently people like the idea of eating a creepy toy elf . . . because the cereal was popular enough that they’re bringing it back this year AND making a second flavor.
The original flavor is sugar cookie-flavored cereal pieces with marshmallows. This new flavor is candy cane cookie-flavored pieces with marshmallows.
The new version is going on sale right now exclusively at Walmart. The original flavor should be available everywhere.
