RECENT LOCAL UPDATES AS OF 8-12-20 . . .
The Nebraska Cattlemen’s Classic will host its first Pop-Up Beef Event on August 22nd at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds in Kearney. The goal of the event is to give NCC youth buyers an opportunity to exhibit their cattle. The 30th Nebraska Cattlemen’s Classic will be February 13-21st, 2021, at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds.
Go Big RED in June, 2023! Fonner Park and Grand Island have been selected as the host site for the 34th Annual Red Power Roundup. IH collectors and fans will embark Grand Island on June 15-17th, 2023.
The three-day expo will feature row upon row of all makes and models of antique International Harvester tractors, equipment, memorabilia and more. Many will be restored while others may be rustic and everything in between. The event will encompass the majority of the Fonner Park campus and will bring an anticipated attendance of upwards of 10,000 or more people to Grand Island over three days.
