2020 BIG TICKET GIVEAWAY JONAS BROTHER CONCERT PROMOTION – KQKY
A complete copy of these rules may be obtained at the offices of (KQKY), 2233 Central Avenue, Kearney, NE 68847, during normal business hours Monday-Friday or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the above address.
NRG Media, LLC its subsidiaries and affiliated companies (together, “NRG”), and BIG TICKET GIVEAWAY-MAROON 5 (the “Contest”) substantially as described in these rules, and by participating, each participant agrees as follows:
NRG Media, LLC d/b/a KQKY HITS 106, Kearney, Nebraska is a participating station.
Description of Contest/Participation
Contest to run from Monday March 30 at 7:45am and ends Wednesday June 17 at 6am
How to ENTER:
Listeners to KQKY Hits 106 105.9 can register to win “The Contest” when they hear “The Big Ticket Giveaway” cue to call on the air between 6am to 6pm Monday through Friday (except holidays). Hits 106 Listeners Cue to Call 308-698-2106. The On air Announcer will register caller 6. Listeners may qualify as many times they can get through during the length of the promotion. Winners of daily contests will qualify to win the Big Ticket Giveaway
Users can register to win at Club KQ at the Station Website www.KQKY.COM and click on the Big ticket Giveaway Promotion Link. Users who are not a member of “Club KQ” will have to sign up to be a member of the Club in order to register for the contest providing Name, Address, Phone Number, Email and Date of Birth. Club KQ Users may register online once a day through the length of the contest.
Listeners may mail in an entry To The Big Ticket Giveaway Maroon 5 KQKY Hits 106 2223 Central Ave., Kearney, NE. 68847 providing Name, Address, Phone Number and Date of Birth. All mail in entries must be received by close of business on Tuesday June 16. No entries dropped off at Station studios will be accepted.
All mail in entries will be added to all on air registrations.
Listeners can sign up to win during on location remotes hosted by Hits 106 and bonus entries chances on Hits 106 Social Media platforms, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. These entries will be added to the on air entries box.
HOW TO WIN:
Winner will be chosen from all entries: On Wednesday June 17 in the 7am hour, five (5) semi-finalists will be drawn from all on air/mail in entries and five (5) semi-finalists will be drawn from all on line entries. One person per semi-finalist, if any duplicate names are drawn then another will be drawn from on air entries. The Grand Prize winner will be the name chosen from the 10 semi-finalists. Judges decision is final. Winner will be announced at &:40am on the Morning Crave with Bic and Dave. Winner will be called and notified and does not need to listen to win.
No purchase necessary. By entering the Contest, you agree to abide by all term and conditions referenced in these Official Rules.
Prize:
The winner receives one pair of tickets to the Maroon 5 Concert August 6th 2020 at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln Nebraska. Winner will pickup tickets from our studios in Kearney, 2223 Central Avenue or Grand Island Studios at 3532 West Capital off Highway 281. Must show ID to collect prize. Value of prize is $300
Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to NRG, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. The winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state, or local taxes, duties, tariffs, or other fees.
The winner must provide NRG with valid state identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number on the required IRS forms before any prize will be awarded. Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize. Any person winning over $600 in prizes from a station will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
The Prize may not be sold, traded, or transferred. Failure to collect the Prize constitutes forfeiture of the Prize. The prize fulfillment package must be completed and and postmarked within seven (7) calendar days of receipt or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to another qualifier, or not awarded. If forfeited, the Prize will remain property of the NRG and another winner may not be selected. No alternative Prize compensation will be provided. No cash equivalent for Prize will be awarded. Prizes are not transferable by the Winner to any person. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for any other Prize.
Station is not liable for the inability of listeners to enter due to technical issues, including telephone, cellular or internet malfunctions, outages or disruptions; lost blocked, delayed or misdirected calls or messages; lost damaged or misdirected mail or faxes.
All entries become property of Station and will not be acknowledged or returned. Station may store and use any of the entries for any lawful purpose including publicity, without further compensation to the entrant. Listeners affirm they own user-generated content, including videos, and grant Station a world-wide unlimited license to use the material in any manner.
Eligibility: No purchase necessary.
Employees of NRG Media, Lyon Family Dentistry, affiliated companies, sponsors and their subsidiaries, other media outlets in the Kearney MSA, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate families and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Contestants and Immediate Family Members of contestants who have won a prize on Station within the last 30 days are not eligible to participate or win. For contests that extend beyond 30 days, contestants and Immediate Family Members may win only one prize per contest level or per contest, depending on the specific promotion.

Station assumes no responsibility for problems incurred recording or uploading any videos.

DISQUALIFICATION AND PENALTIES:
Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person for (i) violating any of these rules, (ii) tampering with the entry process or the operation of Station electronic site, (iii) gaining an unfair advantage in participating in the contest, (iv) obtaining winner status using false or fraudulent means or information, or (v) engaging in otherwise unsportsmanlike, illegal, disruptive, annoying, harassing, or threatening behavior.
PRIZES, NOTIFICATION AND REDEEMING PRIZES
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.
Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No substitution or cash equivalent will be made. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
Prize is deemed forfeited if not claimed by winner within 7 days of winning or within its period of usability. Forfeited prizes will be disposed of at the discretion of Station management. Prizes may only be claimed at Station’s studio during office hours Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. Prizes cannot be claimed by a third-party on behalf of the winner.
Winners must provide satisfactory proof of age, photo identification, and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded.
In addition, winner agrees to execute an affidavit of eligibility, indemnification and release of liability regarding winner’s participation in the contest and receipt and use of the prize before any prize is awarded.
All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes including any sales taxes. Any person winning over $600 in prizes during any one year period will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year, and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS. Any additional costs relating to the prizes, and incurred as a result of accepting the prizes, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Failure to execute any required documents or comply with any of the terms will result in forfeiture of the prize.
The Station is not responsible for concert being canceled or postponed to another date.
RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Unless prohibited by law, contestant’s participation in contest constitutes consent and license for Station, NRG Media and contest sponsors, without any further obligation or compensation to the contest participant, to use participant’s name, voice, biographical data, likeness and user-generated content (if any) for promotional purposes in any media in any form now known or hereinafter invented.
Station, NRG Media, their subsidiaries and affiliates, their officers, directors, agents, stockholders, insurers, and employees, and their advertising and promotional agencies and sponsors assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for damages, loss or injury resulting from participating in any contest or acceptance or use of any prize.
