Unless you’re like some of my flying snobs, then you won’t really agree with this survey. But a new survey found 83% of people say price is the most important factor when booking a flight.

Seems like a no-brainer, right? Not if you’re one of my flying (snob) friends. You know who you are! I’m a simple man. Give me a cheap flight on Southwest and I’m all set.

The survey also found that most folks are fine with keeping costs down by NOT paying for perks like an aisle or window seat.

Other results…

  • 60% of folks won’t pay extra to avoid having a middle seat
  • 52% will fly on whatever airline is the cheapest
  • 40% will by a “basic economy” ticket that doesn’t even let us have a pre-assigned seat or a bag in the overhead bin.

HERE’S MORE about the survey.
