The Nebraska men’s basketball team begins a busy week of action tonight with a game at nationally ranked Indiana. The Huskers snapped a two-game losing streak with a 70-64 win over Penn State Thursday. Isaiah Roby led three Huskers in double figures with 22 points and 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the season. The Hoosiers, who are ranked 22nd in the AP-Poll and 24th in the Coaches Poll, are a perfect 10-0 at home this season. Tipoff is set for tonight at 5:30. Tonight’s game will be the first of two straight games against nationally ranked teams for the Huskers, they host Michigan State Thursday. The Spartans are 6th in the AP Poll and 5th in the Coaches Poll.
The Nebraska women’s basketball team could’nt overcome a slow start in a 62-56 loss to Rutgers yesterday at Pinnacle Bank Arena. With the loss the Husker women fall to 7-9 on the season and 2-3 in the Big Ten. They are at Illinois Thursday.
